The Neptunian Museum

A virtual museum by Thomas Neptune

The Neptunian Museum is a small museum on the edge of the universe. No one knows how it arrived there, only that the contents of the museum constantly change with a seemingly infinite number of anonymous curators. Every time you walk in the door, the walls are adorned with a different set of art works.

Except you are not actually there, no, you are simply on a guided tour of the surreal museum on a computer monitor, all within the comfort of your own home.

Install instructions

This is my final project for my New Media class. You can replace the images with your own by pasting them in and using the file names to decide which painting has which image. Naming goes by room from top left to bottom right, i.e. painting1 will be in the top left room in the top leftmost painting, painting 2 will be the one next to it, so on and so forth. There are a total of 47 paintings; feel free to open the game in Unity and edit the museum to your heart's content.

Museum model made in Google Sketchup 2015. Game made in Unity 5. Author: Thomas Neptune. Source code is packaged with the application under GPL v3.0. Check the LiCENSE.TXT for more information.
